100km DOWN COURSE
Start from Kyaninga Lodge, 1685m above sea level, cycle down into the Albertine Rift Valley, through the Semliki Wildlife Reserve and finish at Lake Albert, 615m. Then hop on the shuttle bus back up to the lodge.
A mix of clay and asphalt roads, perfect for mountain, gravel, cyclocross bikes or any bike with a sturdy frame and grippy tyres.
All the excitement, atmosphere, scenery and adrenaline, without the brutal climb.
200km BEAST COURSE
A brutal 200km course through the depths of the Rift Valley. Start from Kyaninga Lodge, 1685m, cycle down to the lowest point in Uganda, Lake Albert, 615m…and then back up again before darkness falls. A mix of clay and asphalt roads, perfect for mountain, gravel, cyclocross bikes or any bike with a sturdy frame and grippy tyres.
Not for the faint hearted, this punishing course will push you to your limits.
Join us at Kyaninga Lodge for prize-giving, entertainment, drinks and a hog roast - you deserve it! Select hog roast on booking and the cost of 45,000ugx can be paid on the day.
We work with a small selection of great mountain bike hire companies that will have your bike ready for your arrival on race day. Select bike hire on booking and we will put you in touch.
Stay in the stunning Kyaninga Lodge, an en-suite safari tent, or bring your own tent and camp in the Lodge grounds. Arrive on Friday 6th, depart on Sunday 8th December. All meals are included from Friday evening to breakfast on Sunday. Contact us to find out more.
