We have chosen Fort Portals two loveliest hotels for your trip. You can choose which to stay in - prices for each option can be found on the sign up page and details of both accommodation options are below. Both options are clean, en suite, have wifi, bars, gardens, hot water and very friendly staff to look after you.

Kalya Courts Hotel

A big bar, gardens you want to hang out in and thirty rooms just for our runners makes Kalya the liveliest option.

There is wifi, hot water and balconies and the friendly owner, David, took part in the 2016 10km #RiftMaz so can give you some race tips!
We have reserved all the rooms in this hotel so you'll know everybody and the atmosphere will be brilliant.

The immaculate gardens are full of places to sit, relax, chat, soak up some sun and drink some beers or G&Ts from the well-stocked bar. The rooms are en suite, bright, quiet, clean as a whistle and the beds are the kind of comfort you'll be needing before and after a rather long run.

Kyaninga Lodge

Kyaninga Lodge is our most luxury option (maybe even Uganda's most luxury option - it is faaancy).

Made up of 9 luxury thatched cottages plus a central HQ cottage where the merriment happens. The lodge took 6 years to build by hand with each cottage rising from a wooden walkway.

The lodge overlooks Kyaninga Lake and the Rwenzori Mountains and each cottage has a huge balcony to enjoy the stunning views from. You might have to share this with the odd monkey.

Kyaninga Lodge's HQ cottage boasts a dining room and bar / lounge area with an open fire. Mezzanine seating areas make the most of the views as does the multitude of terraces with sun-beds and...yeah, a pool.

You must be bored of all this luxury but we'll quickly mention there's also a tennis court, badminton court, a boules lawn and the lake is safe for swimming. OK now we're done, we'll let the pictures speak for themselves...
